Dr. Wright, shared with the students the various types of mushrooms and fungi he sampled and and attempts of reproducing back in his university and home laboratory. He reveled on extended research on medical properties of mushrooms and how it can be incorporated for future medicines.
Mr. Calaustro’s presentation involved research on roosters and effective breeding techniques on native Philippine roosters. Working with local farmers on selective breeding process as well as teaching artificial insemination to bring on desirable characteristics to produce a more virile offspring.

These lectures proved invaluable to the students as they continued to study their related fields – either in biology, animal science or mycology, the information gained will be relevant in their pursuit of higher learning.
